Our Story

Home Addition was created from my belief that your home is far more than a place we live. It is the foundation for how we move through life. The atmosphere we create within our homes affects our mood, our peace, our confidence, our relationships, and even the way we show up for ourselves every day. I believe the scent, warmth, comfort, and feeling of a space matter deeply because home should be the place that restores us.

Too often, home décor and fragrance are treated as things reserved only for luxury lifestyles or special occasions. But to me, creating a welcoming and intentional home is not about status; it is about care. The same way we invest in becoming the best version of ourselves, I believe our homes deserve the same attention and thoughtfulness. The environments we surround ourselves with influence us psychologically and emotionally in ways many people underestimate. A home should not just look beautiful. It should feel grounding, calming, lived in, and personal.

Before creating Home Addition, I spent more than 10 years working in the construction industry after studying General Construction in school. Over the years, I developed a deep appreciation for homes, structure, design, craftsmanship, and the way thoughtful spaces can affect people’s lives. Creating environments that feel intentional is not something new to me — it has been part of my life for years. Home Addition simply became an extension of that passion in a more personal and creative form.

My Jamaican heritage is also deeply woven into the heart of this brand. Many of the collections are inspired by the beauty, atmosphere, and emotion connected to places throughout Jamaica, but none is more personal to me than the Porus Embrace collection.

Porus, Manchester is the town in Jamaica where my late father, Wayne Campbell, was born and raised. He was one of the hardest-working men I have ever known; a man who believed in excellence, resilience, discipline, and taking pride in whatever you put your hands to. That work ethic, passion, and commitment to quality live deeply within me and continue to shape how I approach this brand every single day.

Porus Embrace was created in his honor.

The collection represents warmth, grounding, strength, and comfort. The same qualities my father carried throughout his life. Every product created under Home Addition is made with that same spirit in mind: excellence, care, intentionality, and respect for the people bringing these pieces into their homes.

I did not create Home Addition simply to sell products. I created it because I genuinely care about how people live and feel within their spaces. I understand that home is personal. The pieces we place within our homes become part of our routines, our memories, our quiet moments and our milestones. This is the lives we are building behind closed doors.

That is why every detail matters to me.

From the fragrances we develop to the vessels we source and the way each collection is presented, my goal is always to create pieces that feel timeless, comforting, and emotionally connected to the home; not temporary trends designed only to be consumed and replaced.
