Some feel bright, airy, and full of life. At Home Addition, we believe scent plays a powerful role in shaping that feeling. That belief is what inspired our very first fragrance collection. Rather than creating random scents simply because they smelled good, we wanted each fragrance to represent an atmosphere, a mood, and an emotional experience within the home.

Our debut collection was also deeply inspired by Jamaica, its landscapes, textures, calmness, warmth, and emotional familiarity. Each scent tells a different story. Together, they create a balanced collection designed to help people experience home in different ways.

More Than Fragrance

When creating Home Addition, we knew we didn’t want to build a traditional fragrance brand. We wanted to create products that felt intentional. Products that could quietly transform the atmosphere of a room. A scent should not overwhelm your home. It should support it, create softness, create calm and help a space feel welcoming, grounded, and lived in. That philosophy guided every scent in our first collection.

Named after Porus, Jamaica, the hometown of our founder’s late father; Porus Embrace was designed to feel rooted, peaceful, and emotionally grounding.

Why We Chose a Balanced Collection

One of the most important decisions we made while building Home Addition was creating balance across the scent collection. We did not want every fragrance to smell similar. We wanted each scent to support a different emotional experience within the home. Together, the collection creates a complete atmosphere system:
